Stigma, Shame & Silence: Lifting the Lid on Men’s Mental Health

The Office for National Statistics recently released data on deaths by suicide for Q4 2023 that painted an alarming picture: of the 1,439 suicides recorded in that quarter, 388 were women and 1,051 were men.

We know this gender gap in mental health exists. But what we need to know is how we can bridge this gap, and save lives.

In our recent webinar, Harry Bliss was joined by MHFA England’s Simon Blake and BHSF’s Hayden Smith to discuss their thoughts on this latest data and what we need to do as organisations to prevent more losses.
